Dan and Jaime Hartke had a healthy baby boy yesterday at 5:19p.m.

Noah Lee Hartke is 8lbs 13 oz and 22 inches long.  We are so happy for the Hartke family!

It is so easy to miss Christmas because it is so in our face.  Silent Night is overwhelmed by economic chaos.  Joy to the World is eclipsed by trouble throughout the world.  Hark the Hearld Angels Sing is drowned out by hurry up we are late for the party (which I wish we didn’t have to go to anyway).

It will take a radical decision of the heart and head to not miss Christmas…are you radical enough?  Do you dare to break free from the things that hold you back from finding Christmas?  Do you have the courage to stop and go eye to eye with your Maker and surrender to His majesty?  Are you willing to risk finding the love of not only your life but of your eternity in the presence of God?

Go for it….let’s do it together…let’s invite our friends, family, and neighbors to do the same with us.  Let me know how it goes!
